This is an 18ct yellow gold vintage gentlemen’s automatic Omega.
The round dial is signed Omega Automatic and below “6” Swiss Made at the very bottom of the dial and features raised applied baton gilt hour indices, original Dauphine hands and subsidiary seconds dial. Inside the case back bears the Omega Watch Co. triangle branding and FAB SUISSE and swiss 18ct.750 hallmarks. The back case carries the Omega reference number 2659 and case serial number 11160697. As can be seen when the case is opened there is the original Omega chronometer grade Cal.342 copper-tone bumper automatic movement which uses a rotor which winds the movement by gently bouncing backwards and forwards. The movement is signed Omega Watch Co. Swiss, Seventeen 17 Jewels with the serial number 13192787 which dates this quality timepiece to the year 1952. The movement winds, runs & sets smoothly and is working perfectly and keeps excellent time–singed Omega Watch Co Swiss-Seventeen Jewels and Cal.342.
